Understanding The Application Process For A Title Pawn In Atlanta
Are you in the Atlanta region and thinking of applying for a title pawn to get yourself out of a financial bind? Have you tried looking at a few different banks, and find there is either a long wait for approval or your credit score affects the amount of money you can receive? If you have been approved for a loan from a traditional moneylender, are you overwhelmed by the constraints that have been put on to your contract?
We are known for our friendly and attentive customer service, and we always keep your needs at the top of our list. If you’re unfamiliar with the process of applying for a title pawn or how the contract works, we’ve got the answers you need. It is important to understand what you’re agreeing to before deciding if a title pawn is the solution for you, and we’ve provided the requirements and expected process for you below.
What Exactly Is A Title Pawn?
In an ordinary pawn transaction, the broker gives the borrower money in exchange for collateral on something valuable. A “title pawn” (also known as a “title loan” outside of Georgia) operates the same way, but Title Tree doesn’t require possession of the collateral. With a title pawn, you only surrender the title to your car, and once you’ve paid off your debt, we hand it back over to you.
Think your credit might get in the way? Don’t stress! We don’t run any credit reports here. The amount of money you receive is based solely on the worth of the title of your car.
How Do I Apply For A Title Pawn in Atlanta With Title Tree?
Bringing your car into one of our branches is the easiest and fastest ways to process your title pawn application. We have offices in Douglasville, Lithia Springs, Lilburn, Loganville, and Norcross, and our customer service representatives are always eager to help. If you’re unsure which office is closest to you, you can also apply online, and we’ll get back to you at our earliest convenience.
If you do come in to one of our branches, you’ll only need to bring your vehicle, its title and insurance, residential and financial proof, and a form of government-issued identification to get your application started.
During the application process with a consultant, one of our trained specialists will do an appraisal on your car and assess the amount of money your title is worth. During this examination, we refer to the Kelly Bluebook market value of your vehicle’s make and model, and can also bring in a certified mechanic if a second opinion is needed.
Our in-office application usually only takes between 10-30 minutes, and after that short wait, you can drive away with anywhere from $1,000-$5,000!
Are There Interest Rates In A Title Pawn Contract?
Since title pawns were designed as short-term solutions to give the borrower some fast cash to cover shock expenses like unforeseen medical bills or accidents without dipping into their personal savings, they must, therefore, be paid off with interest in a timely manner.
Any money lending transaction will come with an interest rate, but Title Tree offers a competitive 30-day no interest deal that saves our customers money. Worried you can’t pay it off within 30 days? No bother! The majority of our agreements last around a year, and can be paid off by either debit card, Western Union transfer, or cash.
We understand interest rates and payment options can be overwhelming, and we’re here to assist you with your questions. Once your application has been approved, our office staff will go over your interest rate and payment plans to help you decide on the option that’s best for you.
What If I Fall Behind On My Payments?
Though the promise of fast cash is exciting, the title pawn contract must be paid off promptly to avoid unwanted penalties. However, the economy is ever-changing, and sometimes our customers find themselves in a position where their income takes a hit. Title Tree is aware of financial catastrophes and their inability to occur at convenient times, but we encourage you to be as aware of your current financial income as you can before deciding if a title pawn is right for you.
Even if your income is fitting for the payments you’ll need to make on your contract, you may experience the loss of a job over the course of your agreement. If this happens, Title Tree asks only that you keep us in the loop so we can help. A reassessment, reevaluation, or renegotiation of your contract is always an option, so long as you let us know. Management consultation is also offered for any further assistance that may be required.
Be aware that if your income changes, and you do not communicate that with us and fall behind on your payments, a repossession of your car may take place. That is both costly for us and disastrous for you. Alternatively, if you are ultimately unable to pay off your debt, or your car gets damaged or stolen during your contract, it will be your job to either sell your car or salvage the parts to return the money owed.
Title Tree sincerely hopes to avoid either of these endings, and assures we will do everything possible to make sure you find success in the completion of your payments.
